A valid reason why we should have 6 characters
I've made 3 characters, an ele, a monk and a necro. Each primary has so many skills and attributes to play with that I end up playing each pure except for monk secondary just for the res. Now, I'm about to make a 4th character... and I want a warrior, a hammer warrior. But I also seriously want a ranger... I'm curious too about mesmers, they just seem neat.
I'm not going to delete any of my other 3 characters, they have too much personal meaning to me. I never (in any game) create disposable characters, "pwns ur mamma" will not make it into my portfolio of characters, guaranteed. My characters have developed histories attached to works of fiction I've already done or will do (not set in the GW universe). So this means that there are two classes I will never ever be able to try as primary, how could I bring myself to kill one of my characters?
Please please please please... when the expansion comes... please anet, please please pretty please, give us enough character creation room to accommodate a primary for each profession (or at least 1 more anyway)

I actually managed to murder one of my characters, because otherwise I would have been bored too hell with the game, because they were all stuck at the same point!

I deleted one of my characters, my E/Mo...because I didn't like having everything so easy. (I could solo through most all of ascalon at like lvl 8)...yeah, wow. That's all fun and stuff but...yeah sorry. So once I got him ascended I canned him. Now I've got a N/Me (who's also been a N/Me, N/E, N/W, N/Mo, and N/R...before I changed him back.) A R/E (who started out as a R/Me), a Me/Mo, and that's about it. All of 'em ascended and lvl 20...the E/Mo I didn't care about very much and I'd gotten the skills so I trashed him.
So I've got one more slot with a Me/E (yes, another mesmer) at lvl 14. And I refuse to delete him because he's so cool...also he was the first character I ever tried to beat the game with...but I quit on him to go to a necro. Still love him though.
Yeah, /signed. I want more player slots.

I wouldn't mind more character creation space, I'd even settle for having to buy a 2nd serial/account so I could merge it with my existing account for four more character slots. Just not looking forward to unlocking everything all over again on a 2nd account for those four new characters.
A reason isn't valid because you say it is, though. Proper wording would be "I think you might consider this a valid reason for...", which puts it in the hands of ArenaNet where it should be.

I think this makes a lot of sense. We could then try all permutations of characters. However I think that perhaps from a sales point of view Anet should do this with the next major add on as you mentioned.
